Yesterday was fabulous, sunshine, massages and horror!!!

I started the day as usual with a cup of tea in my favourite mug.  Mostly I enjoy proper builders tea minus their 6 sugars, but today it was green tea.

Breakfast was a couple of large spoons of full fat Greek yoghurt with dried blueberries, flaked almonds and a few  halved grapes, just perfect!  It was nicer than it looks….

I ran down the road (literally) for a back massage booked with my lovely friend Sarah, which was more pain than pleasure but it really worked! More reminders to ergonomically position myself at my desk.

After the massage, followed by lots of water, I worked all morning in the kitchen……  bad idea as by 11.30 I found myself contemplating the inside of my bare fridge.  Luckily I found some Sauerkraut which is perfect if you just need a couple of forkfuls until lunch, as it’s packed with lots of gut friendly bacteria.

Lunch was prawn salad.

Mid afternoon I made liquorice tea (which is like Marmite, people either love it or hate it, there’s no middle ground) and had some dark chocolate.

Due to my bare fridge, an omelette was my only option for dinner (or fish fingers – yes I do have fish fingers in my freezer, had some the other night surprisingly nice!!).

The omelette had spring onions, olives and tomatoes and (cheddar) cheese – feta would have been nice – with asparagus and kale –  love kale with lots of butter and salt, and some mashed sweet potato with lots of garlic.

I then went to see ‘Woman in Black’ with my daughters – a horror film with Daniel Radcliffe. At the cinema I bought some jellied crocodiles and a couple of chocolate brazils which I barely noticed as I alternately hid and jumped through the film.  I don’t know why I put myself through it, I got in such a state and came out all tense having undone all the good work from my massage.  Good as it was, I’m sticking to romcoms!!!
