What you need ….

2oz hard salted butter

50g ground almonds

2 teasp of Stevia or 1 teasp Xylitol

½ large ripe banana or 1 small

4 stoned Medjool dates

3 tsp almond butter

Couple pinches of rock salt

How you do it……

Heat oven to 160 degrees

Melt the butter in a pan and mix in the almonds and Stevia or Xylitol

Place this mixture in a greased tin (I used a small loaf tin) and bake for 15 mins

Meanwhile, blend the remaining ingredients until thick and gooey

When the almond base is cool, spoon the banana mixture over it

Grate dark chocolate (optional) over the top and keep refrigerated

(You wouldn’t know it doesn’t have oodles of sugar or cream  in it)
