Stress, Anxiety and Fatigue

Fatigue and tiredness are increasingly common in my clinic.  This can range from mild low energy to all encompassing Chronic Fatigue (ME).

Who doesn’t experience stress these days?  On-going stress and lack of nutrients can cause fatigue or anxiety, especially when stimulants are used, whether these are caffeine, alcohol or technology.

So many illnesses affect our energy output including poor diet, IBS and Crohns disease, food allergies and intolerances, stress and anxiety, stimulants, underactive thyroid, anaemia and diabetes.

Through the right nutrition and lifestyle changes,  low energy levels can really bounce back and fatigue fades.

There are many foods and supplements that support stress and anxiety to restore vitality, and I often use Adrenal Stress tests to measure Cortisol levels which give a scientific reading of how stressed a person is.
